Default Universal remote model a3 manual

In the user guide that comes with the remote, it mentions a more detailed manual available at www.dstv.com.

The only manual that i could find is in the sticky thread, but that one is the same as the user guide supplied with the remote.

Where can i get this manual? (Or instructions for using the "exhaustive search" function and a more complete code list for the device).

Hi Jozua and welcome to the forum,
There are some more remote control related documents under the stickies in the HDPVR forum section. They do not all apply to the A3 though (the documents really need to be labelled).

You don’t mention what you are trying to achieve, but the learning function of this version works well and I have never bothered with the exhaustive search on any of my devices.
I hope this helps in any way, but please let us know if you need help with a specific device or remote function.

Thank you. The manuals were very helpful.

It is difficult to use the learning function after the old remotes spent a weekend in a puddle of rainwater.

I'm also a bit weird. I enjoy reading manuals

For me, manuals are usually the last resort...
I'm not a huge fan of reading. If it's any good, they'll make a movie about it.
