Default Faulty Decoder

Hi,

I have a 1110 as a secondary in an extraview setup. Primary is a PVR 2P. Using a twin LNB with a 2x4 multiswitch.

Since yesterday afternoon, I have been losing signal on the secondary decoder but only on the vertical channels, more specifically on the channels with a symbol rate of 30000 (104, 105, 106, etc.). Vertical channels with a symbol rate of 27500 (101, 103) is fine.

The reason I suspect the decoder is because my primary works fine on all these channels. Can someone confirm?

Thanks.

It could also be a faulty MS. Try another port on MS or use a direct LNB feed for test purposes.

Thanks for the feedback. Bypassed the MS and problem still persists. In fact, when I do this, It also happens on some of the Horizontal channels (BBCE).

Almost certain that the problem lies with the 1110 decoder.

Suggest you take the decoders in to MC (both) as if the 1110 is faulty, the XV link will have to be broken and then the primary decoder needs to be linked to the new replacement 1110

Hi Bandit

I`ve got exactly the same setup (HDPVR P2 primary + 1110 secondary). Some very bad channels on 1110 although no problems on HD PVR. Have you had your 1110 decoder tested by MC or did you manage to solve the problem?

Thanks

Hi,

Decoder was faulty and swapped. It wouldn't even load any channels when it was switched on at the call centre.
