Default XtraView installation diagram

My HDPVR was stuck by lightening and I have got a replacement. When the assessor removed the decoder he just disconnected the unit and now i cannot reconnect it so that it works. I have a 1110 extraview decoder. Where can I find a wiring diagram?

Thanks
Vaughan

What else do you have? what type of LNB, MS, TVLINK eyes, etc,

Where are the 2 decoders located? in the same room or in different rooms ? what sort of Tvs?

Did you notify MC about the failure and was XV broken?

How sure are you that only the HD decoder was damaged? Lightning hardly ever picks on only one item in a setup like this ----

Look at the XtraView Manual which has all the diagrams and settings in.

I have 5 cables that need to be connected.
1) the heartbeat that is still connected to the 1110 decoder - where does this plug into the PVR
2) 4 cables from the 6-way muti switch that come from ports 2,3,4 & 5 of the muti-switch. Where do each of these go?

Appreciated the help

The 4 cables from the MS go into the 4 LNB ports marked tuner 1,2,3,4.

The HB cable goes into the RF IN OR RFOUT port depenmding on HOW your service was originally setup

Unless you provide us with more info, we cannot help determine how the HB cable is or was intended to be connected up and what settings you will have to do on your decoder to get it to work again -----

firstly do u hav a ingle recording or dual recording? if it is a dual recorder then you would find a multi switch which has two wires goin in and four wires coming out. all four wires would connect to the tuner connector on the decoder. and the heartbeat cable would connect in the rf in / rf out port. depending if your hd is the primary or secondary.
