Default Explora slow responce

Morning all

Sorry if this has been covered, I did try and find a reference on other postings, there was one but it was not in context, so I have started a new one.

I have a 2 month old Explora, in the last 3 weeks or so I have noticed that the response time between the remote and decoder is getting slower and slower. ie. try and change channels and you must wait a few seconds ( maybe a bit longer ) before there is a response. Actually almost any action from the decoder seems to be take a while. This happens in all menus.

Anyone else with the same issues? Is there a fix?

I have to agree that the response time is slow. I often double click because I don't think it's worked the first time.

I've had the same problem for months now, sometimes I've had delays of up to 30 seconds before the decoder responds.

Do you have Xtraview, TV Links or Remote Blasters?

My problem is also via the TV link. Using Xtraview with the Explora and HD2P decoders.

Which brand / model of TV Link do you have?

I have 2 TV Links, 1 that came with the SDPVR and 1 DSTV unit I bought from MC in Randburg and both work fine with the Explora (Except Slo Motion).

I have 2, one from MC and 1 from Ellies. I will swop them and see if it helps as I only watch the Explora from 1 bedroom.

sorry for the late reply, I am working directly in front of the decoder, no blasters or links. Using the Explora remote.

also when I switch it on, I have to press the power button more than once.

Mine too is doing the same thing. The response seems to be slower than the time I first installed it. At first I thought it was just batteries but changing them didn't help. It's so so irritating I no longer enjoy my Explora
