Default Replacing sd per with explorer

Good day
Is it possible to remove the sd pvr and replace it with a explorer.
Are there any extra cables necessary.
Many thanks
Johnathan

@aardvark
yes you can replace the SD PVR for an explora
it is recommended that you call out an accredited installer so that they can ascertain your requirements, and also have a look at your current set up

If your current setup has at least an 80cm dish with a twin LNB connected to the SD PVR via 2 coax cables, it is possible to unplug the SD PVR and replace it with an Explora. Just follow the connection instructions for the Explora switch and contact the MC call Centre with your account no. and new smart card number to activate the new installation.

IF the SD PVR is coupled to another decoder with XV, THEN make sure you break the link between the two decoders BEFORE disconnecting the SD PVR.

Also, you may have to review your decision which decoder is going to be the Primary decoder after the change.
