Press Options then you can change the sorting order to be A to Z.

Also new: CatchUp titles now show the Date Aired in the description and (a bit obvious) posters now reflect the channel logo as part of the poster.

Would still be a great feature if we could arrange what is on Catch up similar to how we can arrange our series manager from highest to lowest priority. Could then have the shows we watch at the top of the schedule with everything else below them. Will avoid having to scroll through numerous unwanted content to get to those I want to watch.

New shows would never get discovered

Not really. For those who are new it won't affect them as the defaults will still display things the same as they do now, and those looking for new series & seasons already have a number of ways of discovering them.

I actually think BB's idea may be better than the Favourites Folder concept we've all been discussing for years, prioritising series allows for us to easily change our minds by just looking further down the existing listings.

BB going to go have a lie down. Appears that he's actually come up with a reasonable suggestion that meets with some approval. For a change. Must be sick.

Regarding new catch up content. Yes, with my suggestion there will be the chance of missing out on something new but one could periodically scroll through the full schedule and prioritise any new series that one would like to watch. Wouldn't need to do this more than say, once a week maximum. As things now stand I have to scroll through just about everything thats on the catch up schedule in order to find the couple of shows that I regularly watch.

We can also use the (new series) section in search and the EPG. So it's not very likely that we will miss something

I was reading something about ala carte services the other day and I not sure about the exact channel they were talking about but it was in North America. As technology advances and the cost of production becomes lower, more will be offered, low budget but high quality content will become drowned out.

Here in SA it's 75% of the content on Home Channel, Travel and Fashion TV. It start innocently until it becomes a real problem. What I think is better personalised suggestions the algorithm sitting on you own decoder.

It's certainly not a problem now but mark my words.
