I noticed just after 1:30am on Tuesday morning my primary decoder doing a software update for no apparent reason. The secondary explora was working fine with no software update taking place at all.Now I see my primary doing a software update again with the secondary decoder behaving normally. Why is the primary decoder behaving this way.

There has been a software update or maybe two in last few days. I notice that the software version on my Explora 2A changed from 17/2 to 19/2

The only change noticed so far is this: New Catch Up Layout
And no doubt some further recording issues repairs.

Please can the Mods post if there's more to it than that.

Some changes I've noticed (not sure if due to this update):

- There is a download speed checker in the connectivity checker
- The folder icons have gone from the playlist for stacked episodes (Yipee!)

I also prefer the new layout.

Yep, it's somehow cleaner, and still makes sense as an "invisible" folder.

Another change with that - I see that they can now make a CU (Catch Up) folder even if there's just one episode, which helps to understand what is a series.

(But a remaining single title in the Playlist folders does still go back to not being in a folder after a few hours or a reboot, which also makes sense to me.)

EDIT: Here's more info about the software update: New Software on the Explora (STICKY!!!)
