Is there any difference between Drifta and Drifta USB?

Yes, the Drifita has WIFI wireless and can work on a wireless 2.4Ghz network including (currently) with an iPhone/iPad.

Where the USB model only works on a PC.

Ok...but the "wireless" one can only connect to one device at a time right?

Secondly if one is just using it with a pc is it a better bet to get the usb one? Is it faster?

Lastly - premium subscribers are not paying for the usage right now but if one has both Drifta's, will one then pay for both in the future?

Neither of them can share on more than one viewing environment.
There is no speed or quality difference, the USB only version is cheaper.

As far as I understand Premiums subs only get concession for 1 device till Mar 2012, ie any more devices will have payable monthly subscriptions.

You can only get one DStv Mobile subscription at no extra cost, regardless of which device you are using (Drifta, Drifta USB, DVB-H hanset etc)
