Default LIVE TV Issues

Busy attempting to watch the Rugby at home on an iPad.

Very poor streaming quality and more to the point TWO MINUTES behind the live action on an Explora in another room.

50 Mbps Fibre. iPad connected via wireless at 72 Mbps on a Gigabit Ethernet home network.

Edit : Did a comparison on a wired computer. This runs about 45 seconds behind the live action. Which is a bit better. Quality not as good as it could be.

Hi Simon

I have shared the above with the platforms team.

Once they respond, I will revert back to you.

Default LIVE TV Issues

MC are poor when it comes to streaming services and hardware(and responding it seems). Ive seen the HW at Teraco and its a farcry compared to the Netflix setup in the Data Centre regarding streaming. I also have 20mb fibre at home and the quality and streaming is aweful. Decoder pay tv is dying a painfull death. Streaming on demand is the future and the sooner MC realises that, the better. Its pretty much just Supersport thats keeps MC decoder subscriptions alive.

Hi GerhardSA

Kindly advise if you are still experiencing the same issues with streaming. If so, kindly advise on which device and whether it's Live TV. May we also have screen-shots to share with our platforms team.

Watching premier league (live tv) on my browser and the stream is delayed. Is there a reason for this?

Got the DSTV app to work today, it lasted about 10 mins. Then I tried to mirror it to an Apple TV3 and that was the end of it. Using an iPad 4

Hi ratty

There is a one minute difference between the TV broadcast and Live streaming.

Is that what you are referring to?
