Default Superbowl 2017

Watched supersport channel of champions been advertised. No coverage of one of the biggest sport event in the world. Just had to say this.

Default Give us NFL Football please

I understand that rugby soccer and cricket are the main sports in SA. But if I look at the other **** they put on TV that we pay ~R1000 pm, there is a valid case for broadcasting NFL football games.

I also think its a misconception that it does not have a substantial following in SA.

Yes, but how much would it cost SuperSport, presumably, to purchase the broadcast rights. Also, there's probably a Nigerian company that already owns the rights.

It may have a substantial following, but SuperSport claim that it's not substantial enough to justify the cost. So until that assessment changes you're not going to see the Superbowl on DStv.

If SS regularly aired NFL games the number of fans would rise exponentially, so it's a stupid argument

Where's your proof? To me, nfl is nothing more than a filler-in between adverts.

I'd rather have the filler-in every now and then, than the 9 SS channels showing soccer at one stage on Saturday

Don't need proof, simple logic, exposure creates followers.
