We would like to reassure our customers that we are still making the print magazine available to customers who would like to get it. All DStv Premium, Extra and Compact customers are entitled to receive a printed DStv magazine Ė this magazine is provided free of charge. DStv Premium and Extra customers get a Premium magazine and DStv Compact get a Compact magazine. If customers are not receiving the magazine and would like to, they can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
. We would like to appeal to customers who want the magazine to ensure that their postal address is accurate and up to date.
We would like to highlight to customers that the magazine is not the most accurate source of scheduling information - the main reason for this is in order for the magazine to reach our customers on time, it has to be printed very far in advance (3 months). Decoder and online schedules are far more accurate than the print versions.
Our customers can log on to DStv.com to access a 14-day TV guide (which can be printed), a series and movies calendar and see highlights. The online TV guide is also a far more user-friendly format than the print as customers can search for specific shows and also view only the channels they are interested in. The series and movie calendar is also searchable by package, which makes it easier for customers to find great content to view.
The DStv Now App also contains a TV guide that is searchable. On the decoders, customers can view an 8-day TV guide (some decoders only have 7 days) and can also search for specific titles or genres.
