It is only the icon that was removed - series recording is still available but you now need to press OK first. I raised the issue here:

Gives me an error on my explore 2
That an error has occurred during the update the decoder will now reboot
After rebooting it tells me the is a new software for your decoder gives me the options of upgrade now and cancel

When i click on upgrade now nothing happens

Please can any MC help me

Ethan, this forum is for helping South Africans and your software situation can be different. Multichoice Africa has a facebook page for Namibia otherwise ask your call centre.

I see that the new recording icon looks like the icon from Binge.

@Ethan10 - have you tried rebooting again, switching off at the power, waiting for a bit and powering it all back up again?

Did not work and i tried updating it by going in general information still did not work am thinking of formatting it but ill wait for your reply
