BBC.
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET NEW episodes of Deal or No Deal.
We,ve watched the same 2007/8 episodes around and around at least 8 times.
I have written to BBC Lifstyle twice and both times I got the same duplicated answer including "Our viewers say how much they like these episodes. Anyway we only have the rights to 42 episodes".
So roll on watching the same games for the 9th time.

Welcome to the forum and to the BBC replies. The issue has been discussed at length over and over (regarding Pointless, Top Gear & many others) and always with the same BBC replies or empty promises....

This part also came up, does appear to be a legitimate problem - MC told us that the way rights work in the UK it's often up to the author (or something like that) as to what is allowed on any given channel.

Not that it excuses the whole scenario...
