Question XtraView: Explora 1 + Explora 2A + HD PVR 2P- Possible?

I have the folowing decoders linked to SLNB Model LMX501 and Heartbeat via SLX3X2:
Explora 1
Explora 2A
HD PVR 2P

I have changed the indexes and frequencies:
Explora 1 - Port B on LNB - Primary
2 1680
3 2040
4 1006
Explora 2A - Port C on LNB - Secondary
5 1057
6 1108
7 1159
HD PVR 2P - Port A on LNB - New Proposed Secondary
0 1210
1 1420

I have good signal quality / strength on all 3 (98 / 100) decoders.

The disapointed came when phoning MC and was informed that the configuration is not supported as the HD PVR 2P is not an option on 3rd decoder?

Is this the case? According to MyBroadband this is not excempted.

Please can you clarify?

The PVR 2P is indeed not supported. You will see the article list it as supported when linking TWO decoder together but then it says:

Older decoder models are not capable of the technical changes required to run three decoders in XtraView. Only the Explora or a DStv HD decoder are compatible.

The DStv HD decoder (which is supported) is the one running the same software as the Explore - and different from the 2P PVR.

You however can run the decoders as listed and they will work, BUT the HD PVR2P will have to be on its own subscription.

The issue is not only a technical one but also a business decision.

Technically, the decoders will all run off one SLNB. BUT unless the programming on the Explora (primary) decoder allows for the 3rd decoder to be legacy decoder, it will not work. The HD PVR 2P does not care at all, it just wants to receive a recognized HB .....
