Default Timer clock on screen

I must have accidentally pressed something on the remote, but now whenever I play back something from catch up, or a recorded program, I get the timer showing how many hrs/minutes left as the show progresses, in the top right of the TV screen displayed constantly for the whole show, which is distracting.
Can anyone suggest how I get rid of it?

Yes, it's normal for that to display, but not for it to stay on the screen.

If you have the Explora then you'll have to take it to a service centre.
First finish watching what's important for you.
If you have 2 decoders connected with XtraView (XV) then best to take both with.
And make a note of how everything connects.

If it's an older PVR, first try completely turning off the power for a minute.

(Sometimes leaving a decoder off for a few hours can help.)

BTW, it's best to post queries like this in the PVR Decoders forum section, then the Mods there can also help.

It became a known bug on the Explora, a manual reboot should get rid of it.
