I really don't know what to do anymore. It is not a big complex I live in but there must be 5000 dogs and they never stop barking. How can the owners not be going crazy like me? The main instigator is my left side neighbour's dog but the owner is also the chairman(lady?) so if you say anything she makes your life a living hell. Complaint letter about everything.

Birds and monkeys? Sounds like my right side neighbours. Those are the people with the Afrikaans music and diesel bakkie. I'm sure I've complained about them before? Or maybe that was on twitter.

Not from neighbours, just cos there is a nature reserve below us, so wildlife around. We also get mongooses in our garden, but they are quiet

Eurica, cats
Geoff, boerbull

Forum King, hamster

Just a cat here, more human than some humans I know, and our neighbour's cat also "lives" here.
My brother has a parrot that sits on his shoulder like he's a pirate, he insists on taking it everywhere and it poops of course...
My mom is cat-mad, at one stage we had 18!!! (6 were kittens)
My late father did have a chicken as a kid (yes, they eventually ate it )

Where to begin...

Had to look up mongoose on Google. Did not know what that was, Cute. Better than a idling diesel bakkie blaring out Steve songs any day.

My sister just "inherited" a parrot. All I can say is good luck with that.

I like my cat but 18?!? Who has the money for that? The people at PicknPay where I go everyday knows - like me that you buy more cat food than human food. Those things are always hungry. Like teenagers.

Oh and my dad and stepmother has a skilpad. Horrible thing but get treated like a child.

Someone else also told me today that we have it lucky ( ) because cost of living in America (for example cause that is where the child wants to go study) is horribly high compared to SA. Could have fooled me. I work very had to be this poor!

Just realised why you had that pet for me, great memory Merv.
When I joined this Forum I was called Gobble... long story why.

And with that we've already reached 5% of capacity of this new lounge, in one day!
