It was a dark and stormy night.
(But because his installation was sound, his DStv reception was perfect.)

Big storm over Randburg right now; moving slowly North east towards Sandton.
Cheers, Sandtonweatherman

Following the storms on SAWS weather site. Really extensive line of storms that started in the Free State and are marching North Easterly over a wide front. Looks like the Sandton storm might just clip us in PTA East.

That storm killed all the electronics in my house .... 3Pm yesterday. Neighbour said he saw white...literally.
I have a spreadsheet of items ... all the kit I have listed in my signature...gone. RIP to the TV...I will miss it.

Even my micro developer board with new stuff being tested got fried. Security lights, cameras, nanycams, garden lights two alarm systems....the list is endless.

The fact that you have a spread sheet means you are insured; so Christmas comes early this year. It's just a bit of an admin nightmare organizing the replacement stuff with the insurance company. Cheers, K.

Default Big Storm

hi Forumites,
There is a massive storm building out towards the west beyond MC.
Really looks nasty! suspect hail in the clouds

UPDATE 17:20
Whole of the area to the West of Sandton closed in with thick storm clouds almost to the ground!
Very heavy rain and light hail. No Signal.

Cheers, sandtonweatherman.
