Hi gudnews. Sorry to disappoint you but SS is only interested in paying for more football coverage. If they could get away with not showing the rugby they would gladly do it in order to get more football channels. Just look at how many channels are already dedicated to this sport. I will be very pleasantly surprised if we get to see this fight. Don't hold your breath though.

I hope you will be pleasantly surprised. They did show the first one in fairness to them. It's these Eddie Hearn (Matchroom) promoted fights that are the issue. Kwese sports seem to have tied up the rights for the foreseeable future and I don't think they have any plans of letting those go.

The part that confuses me is that channels other than SS can broadcast fights but SS is unable to?
