A late thought! This is not a daylight saving issue that happened to co-incide with the schedule change?

By event tracking not working I mean that the scheduled time for episode 2 was not corrected from 22H30 to 21h29 - it remained 22H30 even though the EPG was amended an hour earlier to 21h29. That is why episode 2 failed to record for kes2110.

The rescheduling of failed recordings IS working. the problem is only related to time changes being made to programs already scheduled to record.

Yes - I deleted my series recording and reset it so both episodes recorded.

No - this is on M-Net channel 101 - no daylight saving applicable.

MC already admitted in another thread that they managed to trace the bug causing scheduled recordings not to adjust to EPG changes and are looking at a fix. This is a very serious issue though and needs a rapid response/fix.

That is correct - you will find that your recording at 22H30 is ACTUALLY episode 3 and you missed out on episode 2 and hour earlier. So, as far as repeats go, you need to make sure you catch the correct repeat - it can get a bit nasty & dirty.

The thick plottens!

BTW on the UEC decoder, I have had to clear the conflicts that have arisen myself by deleting the old settings and doing them all over again including the SBR setting. The conflicts for tonight have gone for now.

Will see close to the first event what the position is.

As per another thread, there was a s/w update for some overnight - I think this must be the fix, or at least a start, as there's no ways it's the expected May update this early.

It appears that as usual it's staggered (I didn't get it yet), so presumably will only reach all by end of week.

Explora model 1 - new Load ver/var 69/2
Explora model 2A - new Load ver/var currently unknown

EDIT: An announcement with details has since been posted: Launch of new software for DStv Exploras and DStv HD Decoders (single view) - April

Thanks. I think I'll just reset the series recording to be safe

I missed that thread but I just checked and I see I did get he update at 01H23 this morning. Hopefully this was indeed the fix!

It seems this was indeed the May release coming to us early? No mention of a fix for this bug.
