Default Explora Scheduled Recordings Problem

Not sure whether this will be noticed in time by people affected but the current issue with the Explora not updating Series Recordings when there are changes made to the EPG is causing a problem tonight.

Due to the Chicago Med production break the EPG was updated to now cater for TWO episodes of Broadchurch. However, the Explora got totally confused and schedule episode 3 for 22H29 and episode 2 for 22H30 (instead of 21H29 as per the EPG) - see attached - and without a conflict showing.

I'm not sure what would actually have recorded - I deleted my series recording and reset it which solved the problem.

Unfortunately I only saw this post now so was unable to correct my recordings. I just checked now and nothing has recorded yet and both episodes are scheduled to record at 22:30 . Thx for the heads up Krugie.

What obviously happened is that episode 2 was originally scheduled for 22h29/22h30. With the double episodes episode 2 got moved to 21h29/21h30 but the series recording remained on the original time and episode 3 was added for the same time as episode 2.

What I'n mot sure of is why it didn't show as a conflict the way it got (incorrectly) scheduled.

Really hope this bug gets fixed very soon!

So event tracking only works in the forward direction not backward?

When was this significant change made to the EPG? after the new start time or before?

My understanding is that it is currently not working at all as far as series recordings go - not sure about once-off recordings.

Broadchurch episode 2 was originally meant to be shown at 22H30 and my series recording was scheduled accordingly. Then - some time yesterday - not sure when - epsiode 2 was moved to 21H29 and episode 3 was added for 22H29.

My episode 2 remained scheduled for 22H30 and episode 3 was added for 22H29 - and nothing was shown as being in conflict.

I wasn't able to change mine last night so I see it recorded episode 2 and rescheduled episode 3 in a repeat slot later in the week. I wonder when I watch it if it will in fact be episode 2.

That is quite a significant bug! MC we need some comment please!

(1) Is event tracking not working at all?
(2) was it deliberately disabled?

That would be the correct behaviour in my opinion. Which means event tracking is working.

Wonder why others did not experience the same?

You changed your settings by deleting the old one and re-entering it. So did it work for you? Did you get both recorded?

BTW: Series recording is a working facility on the UEC HDPVR 4 tuner. Yet the last night and the night before, it broke down and failed to resolve a late conflict that showed up between a TBR (MR) and a SBR. What should have happened is the TBR should have taken precedence as it had already started and the SBR should have scheduled a repeat (which was available). Yet if failed to do so. makes me think some or other parameter in the data stream was not set correctly. Can't tell last when I had any hassles with SBRs on the 4 tuner.

It recorded episode 2 at 10:30 though when it should have recorded episode 2 at 9:30 and then episode 3 at 10:30 if I am not mistaken.
