Judging from the some of the comments by the commentators it was clear that we were watching the world's feed and not the sky's. They were sometimes clearly commenting off footage not visible to us.

This was confirmed during the third practice when they apologized for the problems with the timing display experienced on the World feed.

Overall thank you to MC for improving our Formula 1 viewing experience.

Now you are asking a difficult question. If my understanding is correct. During the race video coverage is done by central body and streamed to the various countries that have entered into an agreement with them. The various networks add their commentary to the video stream. They also have their own camera crews and may cut to their own footage during the transmission to highlight what they are commenting on.

When you receive the World feed and Sky sport or BBC audio commentary there will be times when the audio commentators are commentating on what is shown to their viewers on their feed and not on what is transmitted on the world feed.

It was noticeable during the practice and qualifying sessions that at times they were discussing close shots of some parts on a car while at the time we were looking at some on track footage.

I am sure that doubles a more knowledgeable formite or MOd may have a better and clearer explanation on the whole setup and process.

The last couple of years we were watching the World feed and BBC commentary.

Very happy to have the Sky Sports F1 coverage package for F1 on DSTV.

Commentary was excellent and top quality content. Pre-session and post-session content for all the sessions, specifically qualifying and the race, is also very nice and a welcomed addition.

Thank you Supersport.

It was SkySports''s commentary throughout! Excellent coverage and entertaining race. Let's hope we have a real title race throughout...The only missing thing is the different show breakdown on the TV guide. By the way there's a new show called: The F1 Show produced by Skysports F1.

It is great to hear Martin Brundle again, but is there anyway for us to get the BBC4 team with David Coulthard as a secondary choice? Not showing up under language selection for me. Is it gone then?
