Default Catch up plus downloads corrupt

Hi folks
Anyone else getting continuously and badly corrupted catchup plus downloads?
It occurs whether I select to download later or watch immediately.

By corrupt I mean first the sound goes, then the video pauses, then there are some wild funky colours and messed up pictures, and then if I'm lucky it jumps forward a few seconds. Sometimes as much of half an hours goes missing. Sometimes it jumps back and repeats the content again.

I'm using the wifi connector (with explorer 2) so not sure if that might be an issue, but surely the decoder would have some sort of hash checking to ensure the download is complete?

I had to download Transylvania 2 fourteen times before I got a copy that I could actually follow all the way through.

I usually download the std resolution version to try and reduce the file size.

Literally 9 out of 10 downloads are unwatchable.

Hi Belix

Apologies for the delayed response. We've escalated to the CU team and decoder support to look into and advise. Feedback will be posted once received.

Yes, I get this sometimes. Not as bad as you are describing but it does happen: the funky colours and the content repeat. It is like the download disconnects and then the auto resume restarts from too far back in time.

10Mbps fibre.

Hi Belix

This sounds like a hard drive issue. Do you get this on all titles that you're trying to watch?
What about your personal recordings? Are they working fine?

Thanks Pamela
Only seemingly on those downloaded from the internet via catch up. Regular "set" recording don't have the issues.
