Default Unexplained Reboot of SD PVR: 21:00 - 21:30

Last night, my SD PVR did an auto reboot 3 times in a row. Each time the reboot aborted during the scan process at 6 out of 12 transponders.

I then switched off the SD PVR and tried again at 22H30, afterwhich the reboot went normally.

No error messages on the front panel, no power failures etc.

MC any known activities at the head end that could have caused this??
( Loss of authentication data, etc)
Spare decoders: SD PVR(3) PSU's, DSD 660, 1110, 1131, Explora 1.

2 unmentionable FTA decoders

Nothing. I watched e-TV, SABC3, M-Net and MM2. Busy night. Recorded and used both TV1 and 2!

Hi all,

I have had this on a few occasions. I am not sure why it happens - usually in bad weather.
I just switch the power off for 5 - 10 mins and then restart and the decoder starts up ok.
What is strange though is that you get a few scans i.e. it shows connected to 6 out of 12 and then re-boots. It always re-boots at the same scan segment. I wonder if anyone else has picked this up?
