Question Sound Delays

Did anyone else have problems with sync in the Champions League last night as well as on Tuesday on HD? I checked other programmes and thay all seemed fine, it was just the soccer wherby commentary was a couple of seconds behind the actual play? Was most frustrating

I don't know about last night, but I was in a bank yesterday and they had SS3 on showing some German football game and there must have been a 5 second lag between the video and audio. (Pictures showed ball hitting crossbar, 5 seconds later commentator says "saved by the aluminium")

I have a silver HD PVR. The March update is installed.

Since the update, the SS1 HD channel has a day of atleast 4 seconds picture to sound. For all live or recorded programs.

What's the issue??

The day 4 broadcast of The Cape Epic on SSHD was 5 or more seconds out of sync. The same broadcast on as SD channel was fine. I also watched the day 2 broadcast on HD which was also way out.

Takes longer for the SS sound waves to reach JHB - too many bicycles in the way --

SuperSport apologises for the sync issues.
We experienced a technical file movement problem from our production environment to our transmission environment, which attributed to the sync problem customers experienced on air.
The technical team repaired the problem as fast as they could.
