Default Explora2, 4p and 2p decoder

Hi All.

I wish to install 3 decoders as 2 X xtraview. I have an Explora 2 , a HD PVR (4 Tuner) and a HD PVR (2 Tuner / 2p). I have a 80cm dish and a smart lnd with 3 outputs and a 24-1z switch. I understand that the individual decoders can be connect via hdmi to the closest tv Is it possible to to install that all three decoders can be viewed via rf from more than one location.Yes I realsie that the viewing quality will not be hd. But would still be possible

For 3 decoders connected in XtraView, you can only use a combination of Explora and DStv HD Decoders (single view). Unfortunately older decoders cannot be used, as they're not capable of handling the 3-way connection.

The way you want to share decoders RF is possible, but you cannot use those 3 decoders together for one xtraview arrangement.

For 3 decoders together it must be one or more explora, and you can only add the 4136 or 4137 ordinary hd decoders to the mix. The 4137 needs extra work to work with RF.

What would be the maximum distance between the decoders, such that there is no loss of communication of the Heartbeat. Also is it possible to mix a first version of explora with the explora 2 and then the 4136/ 4137 for 3 decoder extraview.

Am I correct in saying that if I make use of the 3 recommended decoders then I would not need the switch as the lnb has 3 unicable outs and that is capable of handling the HB.

MC suggests up to 50m should be fine.
The mix you suggest is alright but as I say avoid the 4137 with your rf needs.

the smart lnb will do that but each decoder then needs a diplexer at the back for the HB, except for the Exdplora 2a which has one built in.

I am only here now, more will have to wait for someone else.

I have seen some adverts already for R899.00. Is this the expected selling price for tomorrow?
