Heheh, that's probably it then

If so it may be possible to still use it by changing how the 4U works, but that's quite a bit more to explain with no guarantee of success and it's better for Geoff to decide what to suggest next.

Here's one Geoff worked out in the past, it's for half way between Durbs & Margate but that shouldn't make more than a fractional degree difference so should be accurate enough for your efforts;

Quote:

S 30 deg 27.082
E 30 deg 39.234

Thanks
The angles:

Friday 19 October 2012

Site name AndrewD
Satellite name IS-7/10/20

Input Parameters

Site latitude 30.45S degrees
Site longitude 30.65E degrees
Satellite longitude 68.50E degrees

Satellite Look Angles

Elevation 35.87 degrees
True azimuth 56.89 degrees
Azimuth compass bearing 83.66 degrees
Polarization offset 46.44 degrees
Path distance to satellite 38108.01 km
Else there's this posted by someone else, or you could find similar if you don't use Android;

For those who are interested you can always give this Android app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ellitedirector) a try.

Works like a charm.

I highlighted it in red;

Best to mark that determined position on the bracket in case later replacing the SLNB.

BTW, for other readers: The distance of that location from Durbs is about 85 km which should just be within reason.
