Default How to spot errors for an improved viewing experience

My friends and I have been doing this for a long time, this is our last post. It's made in the hope of helping others to be able to spot as many errors as we do for their own sake.

We're very systematic, probably drive ourselves mad. Not recommended.
Some of it is necessary though.

Keep a log of your recordings and what you watch on CU, every day we examine that the episode, time etc. is as scheduled and ALSO check the next week on the EPG (or online guide) to ensure smooth continuation for each and every program.

Use the tools available - movie and series lists supplied by MC & co. on dstv.com etc.

Read some of the popular press. For e.g. we know what is believed happened to the SABC channels a week back, see Mr. T's blog.

This isn't an attack on MC & co., it's a highly detailed and complex business and much is done to keep things in check, but in the end only you can pick up on the fine detail regarding errors with the programs you watch.
Why should you have that burden? That's the cost of such an extensive world-wide service, thousands of people are involved.
