Default Complaint: Poor Picture Quality on Hallmark - Soft Picture

The issue of poor Hallmark video quality has been raised in many threads. The video is soft. Multichoice always replies it is waiting for details from source. It appears to me that Hallmark is broadcast in a much lower video bitrate than most DStv channels. Would Multichoice like to confirm or deny that the video bitrate of Hallmark is less than half that of DStv's SABC3 broadcast? And much lower than most channels? Comment...?

Will Multichoice please post the following:

1. The video bitrate for SABC3 as broadcast on DStv.

2. The video bitrate for Hallmark as broadcast on DStv.

Thanks
