Cool The new X-Files

I'm sure we'll get to see this, maybe this will help speed things up a bit if it wasn't already known about.

The X-Files: CIA reveals 10 real X-Files to celebrate show's return

Your move, F.B.I.

The X-Files will air on Channel 5

In case you missed it, the new season of The X Files has begun in the US, with Mulder and Scully together again to investigate the paranormal.

If you would like to do a little detective work yourself, you’re in luck, as the CIA has released ten previously classified documents which both attempt to prove and disprove that UFOs are real.

The first five are for those of you like Mulder who would love to prove that Aliens really have visited our planet, while the other five are for sceptics like Scully who would like to debunk such rumours.

Access the documents through the CIA website, here.

All ten were once classified documents from the 50s, but were made declassified in 1978, along with thousands of others.

The CIA also Tweeted out (yes, they have a Twitter account) their ten tips on how to tell if a flying saucer has been spotted.

Meanwhile, for us Brits who would like to see the detective duo back in action, the new season of The X Files is back on 8 February on Channel 5.

We're getting to see this. It started last week on Fox with two episodes, and episode three is on tomorrow night at 20:10.

First showing of Ep. 3 is actually @ 06:15 tomorrow so maybe their version of Express.

No more repeats of Ep. 1 & 2 guess we can't keep up with all of it...

It is a continuation of X-Files and is Season 10, just 14 years difference between Season 9 and 10. It is on Fox 125. First 2 episodes were great. As it is a Fox series, it is not on Catch Up but maybe they can get this in, like has happened once before with Fox.

Ja, from what I've found out Ep. 1 & 2 were good compared to the past but Ep. 3 was a sad joke IMO.

And the critics have their opinions the other way around , of course... guess some here will agree though.
Just like MC Nic was discussing in the lounge recently, different thinking and new generations of viewers with other concepts I suppose.

Ep3 was different (weird?), but if you are a staunch X-filer you will recall in all the other seasons there were these oddball episodes thrown in every now and again. Loved the tongue in cheek humour and the chemistry between Fox and Scully is just WOW!
