From what I've seen so far, looks like the weather will have the last say in this test

Yeah the weather will have its say, apparently 4 out of the 5 days we expect rain but this is Gauteng, we do not have rain the whole day so I think that if CSA can start these games at 09h00, this will ensure that the test match has a full 90 over game per day

This will be a very interesting test, Faf want to beat India, India is playing for pride but this test might finish off in a draw Something to look forward for today and the next couple of days

Not the best of pitches IMO ... Rain will probably extend the game to 4 days.. maybe

So we have barely been able to scrape through with a measly lead.

Well in the end it was 4 days, but not due to rain Well done to India. Still think this was a substandard pitch. I'm all for a contest between bat and ball, but this was a bit much. Never seen so many top class batsmen from both sides being hit on the gloves

Perhaps if they stopped preparing wickets that are similar to the N1 freeway then batsmen will perfect the art of batting technique? Certainly the wicket wasn't up to standard nor were the previous two test wickets either. But heck, I for one found it much more interesting to watch with the bowlers for once having things in their favour.

Could the wicket have been all that bad? Rabada in the first innings scored ..... 30? Ball was moving a fair bit even then. In our second innings both Amla and Elgar gutsed it out and scored runs. So, runs were there if you were prepared to fight for it. Certainly, there may have been the odd ball or two which were unplayable but if players had a bit more skill they'd have been able to score runs even on this Wanderers wicket.

As I say, one of the better tests to WATCH on the tv.

India is playing well in the ODIs against the so called might Proteas. There are so many complaints about the pitches, injured players, etc which make no sense at all, the pitches should have been set for the Proteas and injuries will happen but SA has home advantage, they can call up anyone in the country. The Indian spinners are doing a terrific job for Kohli. India lead the series 2-0, they just need to win another 2 games to win the series. SA can come back but they need to play very well

India are indeed playing very well and deserve their 2-0 lead going into the third ODI. The Proteas have been very poor so far and, unfortunately, I cannot really see them improving enough to win this series.

Damn, India really rattled SA in the 3rd ODI in CT, the commentators kept on saying the CT was a good hunting ground for the Proteas. King Kohli was at it again, scoring 160 and he really took the game away from the Proteas. The spinners, man they are doing well in this condition, taking about 20 odd wickets so far, the Proteas batsmen cannot read which way the ball is going to spin. Very surprising because we have technology these day to check how each bowler and batsmen play - other teams capitalize on this but why not SA

SA supporters - is this so called young team going anywhere and will this young team be ready for the next WC
