Default Dancing with the Stars

Just wondering if Dancing with the Stars (U.S version) will be aired anytime soon ? It was always shown on the BBC channel, but lately the channel has only been showing Strictly Come Dancing (U.K. version).

The last season of Dancing with the Stars shown on BBC channel was Season 8. Any chance of Season 9 being aired on BBC or any other DSTV channel anytime soon ?

We will ask the BBC for feedback on this one.

@badabing,

Regarding your query, we received the following response from BBC:

"We don’t have any current plans to show the next series of Dancing with the Stars, but we will certainly note your request in seeing series 9 on BBC Entertainment South Africa in the future. May we take this opportunity to mention some programmes premiering on the channel next month that you may enjoy including: Live at the Apollo (series 6), The Graham Norton Show (series 11), Dating in the Dark UK (series 2) and Titanic."

[QUOTE=MC Thami;116440]The Graham Norton Show (series 11)[QUOTE]

Series 10 (the one we are also now seeing) is still busy in the UK, only finishing on 16 March?

@Krugie - if the channel says series 11 next month, assume they mean April which is probably when series 11 will start in the UK too.

Thanks - that's what I assumed. But normally there is about 6 months gap in the UK between Graham Nortom series' (and not less than a month) with new series starting around October so I just thought it's a bit strange. But I see something similar has happened before.

I know the BBC has been trying to close that gap for their more popular shows. Seems they are succeeding for some.

I personally love the Graham Norton show - have it on series record so I never miss it!

Also love the show & never miss it.

We are already just 2 weeks behind the UK which is why I found it strange that the new season will start over there just 2 or 3 weeks after the current one ends there - but stranger things have happened I guess.
