BTW does anyone know if there's somewhere which lists the particular version they're planning to broadcast? For example, with Blade Runner, there's the regular version, the "Director's Cut" and the "Final Cut" - released on the 30th anniversary of the theatrical release and the only version Ridley Scott had full control over, including previously cut scenes and some scenes only included on certain international versions.

Would really like to watch the "Final Cut", so hoping for that. With other classics like the Godfather, LOTR etc there are also extended versions so further info would be great.

Nice, thanks.

Still no detailed info on the movies unfortunately, so don't know if they'll be showing eg: Blade Runner original theatrical version, Director's Cut or Final Cut.

I know it sounds like a minor issue but with certain movies it's quite important to know.

Looks like there's been some schedule alterations, for instance;

Agreed but I'm sure not part of the standard service we've usually received from M-Movies.
I would suggest expecting the original release, anything more would be a surprise IMO.

Even with the original release there was an international release which had some scenes which were cut from the US release. The Final Cut brought everything together, so really hoping it's this version.

Ah well, guess I'll have to wait and see. I hope in the longer term they consider providing more of this information, the trend for subsequent (/ Blu-Ray) 'Director's Cut' re-releases only seems to be growing. Look at the 'Ultimate' version of the Watchmen, for example. Would really help us out to know.

I see channel 109 has been added to my Explora 1 this morning, so now possible to set up recordings including later MRs (Manual Recordings)

The name of the channel looks like it's not the final one - but that shouldn't make a later difference to the settings, and I've technically confirmed that although there's no "HD" label yet it is in HD.
(This can be checked in the Info Central menu - transponder in use for HD is 11554V.)

Also just seen in the EPG that the movies will all repeat once in the early hours of the next morning.
(They're still setting it up so info may not be there all the time.)

Already a good thing - this new schedule for Blade Runner was going to interfere with the premiere episode of the new season of Shameless

I for one am glad that we're gonna get it on local TV. From what I have read the final cut is one of the more popular versions

Repeats of the movies now that's a good idea.

But if something does happen like I don't know. An alien abduction it will be on CU+ for the movies I'm sure

Shameless being express will be on normal cu 2
