Strange numbering by Thinus, I guess there's a reason but I count more than 100 including those without numbers.

Pity no Harold and Maude which is a bit of a classic. But overall a pretty decent selection of movies.

If the film referred to as a bonus between numbers 88 and 89 is the Orson Wells film then it's called Citizen Kane. Not Cane.

Are the movies Love Story and The Magnificent Seven the original sixties versions or remakes?

Of those on this bucket list I've counted 36 which would be on my bucket list, or close to it, so not a bad selection considering we all have different tastes in movies.

Thanks to MC for this selection and initiative. Hopefully we'll have more like this in the future.

I agree - pretty decent list. I don't quite understand the "bonus" concept - some of the bonus movies would make my list before some of the movies on the list - but why not just call it the 120 Movie Bucket List?

I don't know this movie but have now read up on it on Wiki and am definitely going to give it a go!

Krugie, please do and let me know what you think of it. The story of a 21 year old dating a 79 year old may be a bit off putting to some. But if you like dark off beat type of humour then this one is for you. Lots of laughs and a beautiful soundtrack by the then Cat Stevens. What is also pleasing is that, as far as I can recall, there's not an abundance of swearing, if there's even any, dirty jokes and wholesale destruction of property. There is some minor destruction that takes place but I'm not going to give this away. An excellent off beat black, not racist, comedy.

But alas. Not on this bucket list. Is it too late to add it?

Anyone going to hazard a guess as to what the top ten movies are going to be? I'm very curious about this as one of the movies that makes just about every top ten list that I've seen is already shown at number 28 on the Dstv list. This movie has also been claimed by some to be the number one film. The Godfather. Yet it only makes it to number 28?

Going to be interesting to see just what does make the top ten.

Perhaps they had to make room in the top 10 for The Godfather Part II ?
