I guess that the Dolphins are not moaning and groaning about the weather last night

I would think that the board should re-think for next season, they should have another date set for the semis and finals if there are any weather disruptions

Yip, 3 wins and into the final .. as one guys said on MyBB.. you'll need 10 days to be set aside in Durban Not that it matters who went thru. Can't see the Titans not taking this one.

There is a reserve day for the final... fortunately it's not in Durban.

India beat SL yesterday. Without Kholi, India is still doing well, MS Dhoni is still the backbone to the team, he still takes charge of the troop whether Kholi is there or not

I cannot wait for the SA vs India series - it is going to be an interesting series. My money will definitely be on India, they have been playing good cricket for the past year and SA will be a huge test for them together with the supporters, weather and the bouncy pitches

After being in a lot of trouble India fought back well in their first innings and now have the Proteas in a little bit of trouble at 67/3. Pandya must surely, thus far, be the man of the match due to his very good batting which kept the Indian first innings together. Looking like being another interesting day for day four.

Make that 105/7, which is effectively 105/8 as it's unlikely that Steyn will bat. It still might be a big enough lead, although we'd have to bowl well to defend it.

We did. Well enough anyway. Was a bit of a relapse towards the end of the Indian's second innings but still good enough for the victory. One up with two to play. Well played Proteas.

Default What is so Holy about a 10:00 Start in Test Cricket?

I see there is again a debate about teams failing to get to the magic 90 overs per day. Related to this is the impact of bad weather and low light levels, especially in SA and even more so when test cricket is played in Debbin.

Anyone know why the cricket gods have determined that test cricket SHALL start at 10:00 in the mornings?

I always thought it's just a convenience thing, time allowed for teams to travel and warm up, and enough time for lazy spectators to get themselves going
Will be interesting to hear if there's more to it.
