Default 104: Advertising banner after movie starts - necessary?

Last night's 20:30 movie on MM Premiere was Jack Taylor - Purgatory. Within the first couple of minutes a too large banner for one of the post-schooling campuses made a large noise on the bottom left of the screen.

I'm not getting more involved, it needs to be known about but in this economic disaster period I sadly feel I can't really question it... except the appalling size!
(Sorry, couldn't be bothered with photos but I'm sure you'll see for yourselves soon enough.)

And I would ask that great care be taken not to ever interrupt something important on the screen.
And I do wonder if it would be discontinued if our economy recovered. Surprise us M-Group.
