Default Showmaxsubscription put on hold

I received the following email from Showmax this morning

We have been notified that that your Showmax subscription, billed through DStv South Africa, has been put on hold.
To make sure the credits don't roll on your favourite shows, please get in touch with DStv South Africa to discuss your billing status.
If adding your Showmax to your DStv South Africa account is no longer a convenient way to pay you can:
1. Switch to paying by credit card or PayPal! It's quick, easy and you can cancel at any time. No contracts. No catches. And no need to hit pause on your favourite shows.
2. No credit card? No problem. Put Showmax on this week's shopping list to get a 1, 3 or 6 month prepaid voucher from Pick n Pay, Game, Makro, Incredible Connection, HiFi Corp or CNA.
3. Better yet, shop online with your eBucks and get up to 40% off.

Exactly what does this mean. I am confused.

Hi, it was further discussed at the end of this thread in the Customer Services section: DStv PREMIUM CUSTOMERS GET SHOWMAX AT NO CHARGE
You'll need to contact ShowMax yourself, but hoping that someone gives us feedback when resolved.

Showmax's reply to my email was that they checked my account and all was ok. The email may have been send to me in error and to ignore the contents of the mail.
