Default Channel 212 - Supersport 12.

Good day.

Please remove channel 212 from the list of channels on the Compact and Compact Plus packages.
This channel is not available on an permanent basis on these packages, and therefore shouldn't be there.

I upgraded to Compact this past weekend hoping to see the rugby and cricket scheduled on channel 212, but was hugely disappointed to get message: this channel is not part of your package.

This is false advertising and should be corrected.

Thank you.

Johann

Channel 212 is a pop-up channel which appears from time-time on the different bouquets depending on the overflow content to be catered for by the channel.

Hallo SS Sandile.

I understand it is an popup channel, but that is my point.
It shouldn't appear as part of an package, when it is just sometimes available.
Please remove it from the channel list of these packages.

Or the page can be updated to make it clear that this is a pop-up channel that will be available on the package from time to time, dependent on what is being shown on it.

A tech update, somewhat related to this older thread - we've just seen on an inactive smartcard that 212 SS12 is then listed as being in HD.

Possibly an oversight from many months ago when it served a different purpose, but then why did they since move the no longer used "HD feed" to another transponder

Bottom line - if no response, it could mean some extra sports in HD on this channel in the busy next few weeks.

SS12 was upgraded to HD on the same day when they upgraded M-net Movies Zone

Thanks Puggy.

I guess it must be currently working for some and not for others.

Nice of MC / SS to get involved, very encouraging
(Not interested in the excuses anymore.)
