Default New HD PVR 2P (R1999) vs the other HD PVR (R2999)

Hi , i want to know is there any difference between the new 2P HD PVR decoder for R1999 and the other HD PVR that retails for 3k?
i need to know before i purchase it next week.

Yes the HDPVR 2P is a View 1 record 1 decoder
The HDPVR ( UEC or PACE) is a view 1 record 2 decoder.
