Default Goal Rush

Can anyone confirm if the horrendous "Goal Rush" will be in operation again this season? This truly is a terrible idea and really annoys me as you cannot concentrate on the match you're trying to watch what with the constant switching between lives games.

From todays evidence, it seems goal rush is here to stay. I have a feeling SS3 is a 'package' they buy from the FA not from broadcasters such as Sky or BT Sports which is why 'goal rush' doesn't appear on other channels covering EPL football.

From todays evidence, it seems goal rush is here to stay. I think SS3 is a 'package' they get from the English FA and is independent from broadcasters such as Sky or BT Sport.

The "feed" seen on Supersport 3 is the world feed English premier league coverage channel. It is basically a grey brand channel international broadcasters can use in its entirety. It us mainly used here and in India.

The channel is produced by Premier League Productions (not Sky or BT), which is a joint venture between the league itself and IMG Sports. Sky does produce it's own Premier League channel but it has nothing to do with what we see.

With regard to Goal Rush, Premier League Productions has made it clear that broadcasters like Supersport has the choice to either carry Goal Rush, or the game with a clean feed and no disturbances or even both if they choose.

We all know what Supersport chooses.
