Talking A bit of fun :)

We have just bought the new explora decoder and getting used the new remote has been fun to say the least. Particularly for my elderly parents - that TV button is a real pain because it is in the same place as exit was on the old remote. My dad asked if we could have a vote on which is the most hated/inconveniently placed button on the new remote and the winner gets a remote without said button lol

Personally I went back to using my old Explora 1 remote with my Explora 2A due to better button placement on the 1 remote and the awful clicking noise of the 2A remote.

Same here as far as this part goes, also found the A7's keys too small.

Funny enough I prefer the A7 remote to the A6. For one the ink doesn't disappear within a few months time or the down arrow button getting so very well warn that it falls out. That happened to 2 A6 remotes I had

Not a single issue with A7

The only problem we have with the A7 remote is as with Patric the location of the TV button. Because the HD PVR 2P still uses the A4 you have to remember the location of the exit/return button when you switch to the other decoder. It would have been better if that button was kept in the same place on both/all the remotes.

more than happy with the A7!
I did not like the A5 or A6, never used them in live environment.
The good old A3 was (still is) my absolute favourite! I was a big fan of the "Trick mode toggle" very easy to use in the dark. I'm still using A3s in the UK with no MC kit at all......

So flexible, versatile and easy to programme.....
