Favourite car? Always joke with the family about wanting an Audi A4 but in all honesty it's too big for my needs. Think I'd settle for a Toyota Corolla even though it's not much smaller than the Audi.

What's the point of wanting a Lamboghini, Ferrari and the like when we are limited to driving no faster than 120km.h on our freeways. (Not that I'm against this speed limit).

My folks still have one of those, fun to play with

As for the a4, got one last year, best investment ever!

Speed limits are necessary, but it doesn't mean we can't still have fun. As long as I can still give a Golf GTi upstart a whack I'm satisfied

Got myself a classic in great condition at a real bargain, a British-built Honda CRX sports coupe, pre-modified with a free flow exhaust which was pretty much the standard.
As my insurance company see it as a classic themselves I've even still got comprehensive insurance for it!

I was once a passenger in a friend's Ferrari in which he dared to do 260+ , have to say that was far too much for me and I found extremely reckless despite its excellent ability to deal with it (and his I suppose...)
Funny thing is, I preferred his Porche as far as feel goes, much more exciting than the other "tame" beast goes. So one of them might be fun to have for a while, but I'm a happy chappie

I did get a big grin on my face when a colleague at work driving the new 330d BMW gave me the boksburg "nod" outside our office the other day, it looked like he was looking for parking :P

Forget the sewing machine, generate power and charge batteries --- That way you will get exercise, save power and you can claim plenty of carbon credits -----

And you can still watch TV -------- Better still use the power for the decoder --- if you stop peddling it reboots -- what an incentive!

To change subject and not knowing where to post it but can someone tell me if they are also receiving some advert type thing on their computer when scrolling through the different threads?

Comes up on the left hand side, as I look at it, of my screen and has the headings: Related Searches: Internet Forum Software, A New Post, Forum Software, Free Hosting etc etc.

Is this part of the new Forum set up? If so why are there headings like Online Bachelor Degree, Upgrade My Phone, BUY GOLD AND SILVER?

I click on the small x at the top of this "advert" and the thing goes away only to return when I go to another page on the Forum. Please, if this is part of the new setup kindly take another look at how this operates. Thanks.

Edit> Have clicked on a couple of the items mentioned and they all take me to a site known as Topic Torch and then each one advertises lots of other sites that one can go to. Similar to a Google search.

@beetle bailey - we haven't made any changes on the Forum yet, so what you are describing sounds like browser or internet service provider related advertising. Definitely not from our side.
