Default Constant random 2 second picture black screens

Since the last software update we have constant random picture drop outs while watching via HDMI to my Bravia TV. Never happened once b4 this. I have lived with it for a few weeks but some 10 times now during the Currie Cup final is beyond a joke. As I said never happened before this latest software up grade and also never happens when using my Sony BluRay player. Driving me wild. Gerald.

Last night during the first episode of NCIS on hallmark, I had dots on my screen, It was like a special effect something I've never seen before. And also very irritating.
It did stop eventually but it was really weird at the beginning of the programme.

This is a known problem with many TVs and the only way to reduce the impact is for your to look at your setup on your TV and disable the settings that try to "control" the HD PVR.

That is the best I can do as I do not have personal experience with HD TVs.

I have it too, mine is a samsung 37 inch 37S(something)(something)22(something).
new tv. Is on the list of compatible HD ready panels.
When i do a network rescan that tends to go away for 2 weeks, till the next thunder storm and the signal gets interrupted, then do a new rescan and there you go!. 1 Irritation less.
