Default CU+ movie expiry dates

I see some movies on CU+ have expiry dates that appear to be either in the past or very far into the future?

The expiry date only shows a month and day - no year - so a movie like "The girl on the train" shows an expiry date of 30/09. Is this movie available until end Sep 2018?

Hi Krugie,

Thanks for bringing the matter to our attention. We'll ask the Catch Up team to have a look into the matter.

We appreciate your feedback :-).

Afternoon Krugie,

Please see the below feedback regarding Catch Up time dates.

Our service provider can provide a limited amount of metadata I.e
the information on the content. Therefore only the day and month is
available not year. Content will not be available if the expiration
date is in the past. If it has expired it will be removed and not
available.

Regards
Kagiso

Thank you for advising. So are you confirming that these movies will indeed remain available on CU+ until September 2018?

Hi Krugie

Yes, that is correct. Depending on our licenses, we will have certain movies on for longer periods of time.
