Firstly, just a reminder that other than for an installation this South African forum is unlikely to be able to help you due to the many service differences between each country, so then best to phone your call centre or visit Zimbabwe's MCA's FaceBook page.

I won't be advising much re a mesh dish as I don't have much knowledge of that option, someone else may in the next couple of days.
If it comes with a C band LNB, that's useless for DStv.
The dish itself may be a better option if it's 1.2m or bigger, I think you just need to make sure that its LNB arm and bracket are suited for correctly holding and focusing the Ku band LNB's used for these services. And that the dish was installed properly and is in good order of course.

All the best with it :-)

Mesh antennas are almost always C-BAND and therefore not really suitable for ku-band.
Spare decoders: SD PVR(3) PSU's, DSD 660, 1110, 1131, Explora 1.
Spare switches and LNBs: 1 x 5-1(repaired); 1 x 5-2.Numerous so called faulty LNBs that were easily repaired.
2 unmentionable FTA decoders
1.2m antenna, 8-way universal LNB, 2 x (2x6) MS, FSM permanently connected.
