Don't set your expectations too high!
I Had picked this up while in the UK, over the New Year period.
Watched Ep-1 on the iPlayer and found it rather mediocre, despite being a big fan of both Cleese and Alison Steadman.
So did not follow through on the rest of the series as there was so much excellent TV to watch during the winter months in the UK.

Will however set up the series record though, and give it a second shot.
Cheers, K.

Looking at online user reviews - not really for the younger generations, and too "clean" a production, with Cleese now looking well beyond his prime. Die-hard old fans should get something out of it though.

As I said above, I'm a big fan of both lead characters.

But I found the plot and dialogue slow, improbable and uninteresting. So it did not give the characters a chance to shine.

The first episode should have the viewer hooked; That it did NOT.
Cheers, K.

After 2 episodes... maybe in small, slow doses, Cleese is certainly great in it.
