Showmax (like DStv Now) is also very much for "out of home" viewing... so when you're on holiday, waiting at the docs office, eating lunch .. etc. so you can still get the benfits using WiFi Hotspots.

The concept is good --- "access the services you pay for anywhere at any time", regardless of the device you have.

BUT it comes with so many complications .....

I did and they told me to hard reset both tvs, long and short of it i have given up on using the TV app.

However i never really got the answer to why no subtitles on the Explora.

I would think just not developed yet, maybe not priority enough with all they're doing.

Both up to date on the firmware... Its not a real fuss anyway, i have just discovered that on the android app you can actually download the stuff and watch it at your convinience
