Default TV2 faulty

My dual-view's TV2 channel has suddenly gone snowy. All the plugs are still properly in place and I know it was working on Thursday when we watched something on Action. Yesterday we turned on the bedroom telly so the man could watch sport and it was gone. The sound is fine it's just the picture that's gone. All the other channels, i.e. the SABC ones and ETV are working perfectly, Just TV2. any advice or ideas about what could eb wrong??

I followed the instructions on this page:

http://www.dstv.com/dstvsa/content/e...=Detail&pid=14

First point, I don't get the TV2 tuning screen, only the black screen to change to UHF channel 63, I did that, but there is no tuning pattern page, i.e. no "rainbow colours" page.

Now all I get is a plain blue screen and nothing else. Are you able to help.

Once you have changed to RF channel to 63 ( which by the way is not guarantee of anything), you still have make sure your TV (second one) is now tuned to channel 63, otherwise you will get nothing on the TV.
You have two choices normally, one is to select the channel you used before and manually scan through the channels until you find channel 63 and TV2 from the decoder, or to do the auto tuning of the TV, but this method may scramble ALL other channels you have tuned on your TV.

IOK I'll play around with that and see what happens.

Thank you so much Geoff, that resolved the problem.
Now the PVR has been put on hold again, until the next panic about DSTV.
