Default No EPG for next Thursday?

Strange one. Going through the EPG for the next week, I found it populated until next Wednesday but next Thursday's is blank across all channels.

Tried a reboot but still blank. Never in all my years with DSTV have I encountered this sort of problem, any ideas?

Yes ditto on the UEC HD PVR 4 tuner --- No Thursday next week EPG available.

Any Ideas?

Well suggested you do not do anything to the decoder settings, not even a reboot. Maybe, just maybe any recordings you have set happen anyway in spite of the mess. But any recordings beyond the 24-hour window will fail unless MC does something pretty quickly about the EPG mess.

Seems our forward look has been cut by a day. Next Thursday's EPG is now populated but Friday is blank. Irritating, my modus operandi is to watch an evenings programs and then check a week ahead for new stuff to record.

Hi there folks, so there is a rather significant EPG issue at the moment. With the addition of SundanceTV, we've reached the full capacity (the system can only display a certain amount of info). The teams are working on a solution for this but as a temporary fix, they've taken away the 8th day as this is causing the EPG to crash on an ongoing basis.

Our priority is to stabilise the EPG and to ensure the ongoing updates can happen so the EPG is accurate and your recordings work as they should.

They are working on a permanent solution which will restore your full 8 day EPG.

We understand that this is not a great experience and we apologise for this. Thank you for your understanding.

Just a note that this doesn't appear to be happening on the Explora (original model "1" anyway).

Seems to be HD PVR related? I don't think there's any other decoders that get an 8th day with the EPG?

There are separate EPGs for the different decoder models. Thanks for confirming on the Explora.

Time to revert back to the Bouquet principals maybe???

Oops I am going to be accused of heresy soon for even suggesting that the previous way of doing things was well thought out and bullet proof.
