Default Incorrect Count Down Timer

Is it just me or at times you get wrong program duration on Catch Up titles? Most recent example is GOT S07E04 the duration is listed as 48 mins but the last 3-4 mins the timer is just stuck at 0. On longer programs when this happens, you are unable to resume yo where you were.

I have also picked this up and have reported it. I believe it is related to the ads in the beginning - the ad duration times are not added to the total time but the countdown starts from when the ads start.

CU+ also have ads added at the beginning.. so the countdown timer starts when the ads start..but it should only start when the movie starts.. so it reaches zero before the movie is finished.

No I mean the duration was 0:00:00 the whole 90 odd minutes of the movie. And it has happened more often than once.

Hi rock4us2

Apologies for the delayed response.

Was this on the downloaded CU+ episode? Also confirm if it was on the decoder, DStv Now App or online to assist.

I have checked on this end, the timer seems to be working fine.

Try rebooting the decoder (unplug for 10 seconds then power it up again), check and confirm.

I thought i was going mad so i had to Google this, the runtime for GOT S07E04 is 50 minutes (listed on IMDB and i am assuming thats without ads). Including those ads you now have, my runtime on my Explora is 48 mins.

Its not a trainsmash but a bug for you guys to fix.
