Unhappy Doctor Who Season 10

Does anyone know if/when we'll get Season 10? Also I don't recall if they even showed the 2016 Christmas special on BBC.

I bring this up seeing as Season 11 is going to air this year in the UK and elsewhere presumably.

I must have missed it then somehow. The last one I remember seeing on tv was the 2015 special.

And here we are in 2018

Remember the one year - I think around when BBC Brit launched, when we got the Dr Who season I think less than a week after the UK. Those were the days....

It probably used up their entire Dr Who budget for the 21st century.

OH yes!!

Budget why use the budget on a couple of very good award winning programs. When you can get 50 ancient and rubbish game shows for the same price

I'm sorry but BBC does this every time. Ratings slip then they rebrand and promise the earth of new programs. It never last more then a few months

Stop the bloody rebranding, use that money on programs for us

ITV CHOICE is what British programs are supposed to be.

I couldn't put it better myself... this has happened so many times. Rinse, wash, repeat...

That's what I did, so I've been able to start watching Series 10.

New article on Thinus about exactly this - focusing on Sundance TV but also mentions BBC.

Hello

As previously posted, the BBC doesn't have any plans to air Season 10 of Doctor Who at this stage, but we have made them aware of viewer interest in seeing this show return.
As noted above, the 2016 Christmas special did air in both 2016 and last month on 25 and 26 December.
